In Verarlberg, Austria, we see a snowplough making its way through the snow that fell during an avalanche. A tunnel has been cut through the solid snow that closed a pass. Shots inside the tunnel show men walking about with pickaxes. In Styria, Austria, we see timbermen cutting down trees and chopping logs that will be used to make railway sleepers.
