Is Santa Claus actually... Buzz Lightyear? Subscribe: Has there been a more beloved Christmas movie franchise other than The Santa Clause? I don’t think so! It’s become a holiday staple and no December is complete without endless rewatches of The Santa Clause and The Santa Clause 2. The third one? Meh, you don’t have to rewatch that one! There’s just something so magical about this Santa Claus franchise and it’s always fun coming up with fun new fan theories about the movies. That’s what today’s video is all about! Today we’re going to be talking about a wild new theory that suggests a deeper connection between The Santa Clause franchise and the Toy Story franchise than we previously thought. Because sure, we all know Tim Allen voices Buzz Lightyear and plays Scott Calvin aka Santa Claus in both major franchises, and the Santa Clause in particular has had some fun references to Tim Allen’s space ranger past. But what if it goes beyond just fun references? What if the Fake Santa we saw in The Santa Clause 2 was actually made from Buzz Lightyear parts? Given the evidence we present in this video, it seems possible! And if that does turn out to be the case, then what does that mean for the future of both franchises?
