Australian soprano Yvonne Kenny is known to music lovers everywhere. Her performance of the Olympic Hymn at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games closing ceremony was beamed around the globe to the largest audience any performer could ever wish for. But the life of a diva is not what most people imagine or would envy. This documentary gives an intimate insight into the life of the singer and discovers what motivates her as an artist and as a woman. It is peppered with candour and humour. The hard work and sacrifice involved in her ‘glamorous’ profession take enormous commitment but Yvonne’s passion for singing and her desire to release music’s power to touch the heart and soul keeps her going.
