As our solar system travels through the Milky Way, the orbital motion of the planets around our sun and moons around our planets trace out nested helical motion paths. I've always been puzzled by the common conception of time as a linear dimension, when the passage of time is almost invariably marked by the periodicity of orbiting or revolving entities... Based on the principle of the helical motion trails left by planets and moons orbiting a moving star, I created a calendar/clock in which decades revolve around centuries, years around decades, months around years, days around months, and so on... The resulting motion trail of time is coiled in the same manner as a strand of DNA.
