American Jack Chambers scored a last-minute MX2 GP ride for the Dixon Kawasaki team, thanks to his trainer Zach Osborne recommending him. So two GPs in and with a free weekend, he took a wildcard ride at the second round of the British championship at the historic Lyng track. Taking a hard-fought second in the opener behind first round winner, Isak Gifting. But in a rain-lashed race two, Chambers got into the lead then the race was red-flagged and he was demoted to second place. A day later, organisers made a U-turn on the decision so he was awarded 2-1 finishes to take the win. Justice for Jack!
