An incredibly “tame“ wild kookaburra decided he wanted to bite my finger when I attempted to stroke him outside our house. Held on for about 5 minutes and I eventually picked him up with my other hand and he still didn’t let go. Finally scared him away by slapping the railing. He called in his mates and at one stage there were 3 on the rail eyeing off my fingers. Male dominance behaviour perhaps (me or him???).
