Reduce the heat and simmer for about an hour until the liquid is almost gone and the rice has thickened. Serve immediately. You can garnish it with scallion greens, a drizzle of soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil. This porridge will thicken as it sits. You will have to add more liquid if you have left overs.
