Tverskaya St is one of the longest and widest Moscow boulevards running all the way from Belorusskaya station to Alexander gardens which are at the western Kremlin walls. The street is super busy with traffic and DO NOT try to cross it, but use the underground passageways. Superb massive style architecture can be seen along it with renovated facades with many stores, restaurants, hotels,...etc. This street goes along the road that leads to St. Petersburg. The street is well known by moving building when they needed to make the road broader. There are now 4 lanes in both directions. When they needed to wide up the road they tore down buildings. However there were few historical buildings that needed to be rescued and so they moved it. It's an interesting story about how they were moving it, how long it took, etc. and you still can see the moved building on this street.
