#chinainsights The recent flooding in China has been severe. Due to the heavy rains in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the water level in the Three Gorges Reservoir has risen further. Under these circumstances, the Three Gorges Dam had to open 11 holes from July 10 to 15th to release flood water, which led to the disaster in the middle and lower reaches of the Three Gorges becoming even more severe.
