Dozens of workers held a march in Homestead, Florida as part of ’Que Calor!’ (’It’s so hot!’) campaign against a new state law which places restrictions on wage and employment benefit requirements and prohibits cities and counties from adopting its own requirements for water breaks and protections against the heat. Heat exposure is one of the most prominent reasons threatening workers’ lives in Florida.
