The Anza-Borrego desert in Southern California had an unbelievable superbloom of purple and yellow, but there were so many other species of wildflowers as well. I set out on a one day quest (April 1, 2023) to find the best wildflowers during the short-lived desert superbloom. It took hours of driving to visit all of these spots but it was all worth it to see the incredible display of wildflowers.
