In this BBC documentary series we get to follow a small group of historians and archeologists as they recreate farm life in the age of the Stuarts. They wear the clothes, eat the food and use the tools, skills and technology of the 1620’s for one year. The twelfth and final episode starts in August and it’s time for fattening the geese, making goose pie and carrot puree, taking care of the wheat and straw harvest, reed lights.
