This is footage of Mykhajlo Mykolajevych Tafijchuk playing a volynka--“volynka“ is one of the words Hutsuls use for a type of bag pipe common throughout the Carpathian Mountains. This was filmed in front of his home. Mykhajlo Tafijchuk is a Hutsul instrument maker and musician in the village of Bukovets, approximately mid-way between Verkhovyna and Kosiv.
