Mar Saba or The Holy Lavra of Saint Sabbas is a Monastery overlooking the Kidron Valley between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. It is a Greek-Orthodox Monastery run by Greek monks (Sabaites). In Greek the monastery is known as Ἱερὰ Λαύρα τοῦ Ὁσίου Σάββα τοῦ Ἡγιασμένου (iSyriac: ܕܝܪܐ ܕܡܪܝ ܣܒܐ, Arabic: دير مار سابا; Hebrew: מנזר מר סבא). The monastery of Saint Sabbas is located within the Bethlehem Governorate of the West Bank. Mar Saba is one of the oldest inhabited monasteries in the world. Music by Borrtex 'Doing The Right Thing'.
