Aiming to provide a simplified and streamlined user experience using a customized desktop environment forked from GNOME 3, Debian GNU/Linux-based Endless OS has announced a major upgrade, version . A bug related to clicking when using an external display such as a desktop monitor, TV, or projector has been fixed, while ISO images with pre-installed Endless Key or Kolibri content, such as the full English and Spanish versions, are said to no longer fail to boot when written to a USB drive that does not have enough space to store persistent data, or when launched directly from a virtual machine. The command-line checkbox tool used to check hardware compatibility has been updated to work correctly in Endless OS 6. The machine ID has been added to the factory dialog, and the factory dialog, which is accessed by pressing Ctrl F on the first page of the initial setup immediately after installation, now displays the unique machine ID. ► Subscribe me here : ► Follow me on Tumblr : ► Follow me on Twitter : ► Follow me on Pinterest : Click Here to Watch More Entertainment : ► Linux Videos : ► Buyer Guide Videos : ► Raspberry pi Videos : ► Review Videos : ► Mozilla Videos : ► Vpn Videos : ► Ipad Videos : ► Mac Os Videos : ——Subscribe to stay up to date with the channel! —— Make sure to subscribe to the channel & select the 🔔bell push notifications (click the 🔔BELL icon next to the subscribe button) to be notified immediately when I release a new video. ✅ BE SURE TO LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, AND TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS!!! Base Requirements Endless OS will run on most devices with the following minimum specifications: Processor (CPU) 64-bit Intel or AMD processors are well-supported 32-bit processors are not supported x86 processors: Endless OS supports PC systems with 64-bit Intel or compatible processors, such as AMD and VIA, also known as “x64“ or “x86_64“ computers Endless OS does not run on PCs with 32-bit processors, which includes most computers from before 2007 and even some lower-cost netbooks built after this date ARM processors: Endless OS provides experimental support for some ARM64-based platforms such as Raspberry Pi 4; please refer to our Installation page for more information Memory (RAM) Endless OS will run if you have at least 2 GB of memory in your system, but we recommend at least 4 GB RAM for light workloads (one or two apps/tabs open at a time) and at least 8 GB RAM for improved multitasking Storage For the best performance, we recommend solid state (SSD) storage. Storage (HDD or SSD): A minimum of 32 GB of disk space is recommended so that you can download and install new apps and have space to add your own videos, photos, music, and documents; the Full version may require even more disk space, and custom images can require hundreds of gigabytes of storage depending on included content Encrypted storage is not supported when dual-booting alongside Windows; note this is the default in the “Professional“ edition of Windows 10 and newer Graphics Card (GPU) Like other Linux-based platforms, Intel integrated graphics is the best supported option. We also make efforts to keep up-to-date with the latest open source drivers for AMD graphics where device support is improving. For NVIDIA GPUs, the proprietary NVIDIA driver is automatically installed; this provides excellent performance but the technical support we can provide for such hardware is very limited. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you next time! #endless #endlessos #gnome #debian #linux Todays Video - Endless OS announced!
