Famous american pianist and winner of the 1st Tchaikovsky Competition Van Cliburn (1934-2013) performed his own arrengement of the famous song “Moscow Nights“ by soviet composer Vasiliy Solovyov-Sedoy (1907-1979) at his last recital in Moscow on May, 14, 1958. In 1960 Muzgiz Publishers issued the sheet music of this performance. Sheet music was made after the recording of the recital by musicologist V. Vladimirov. Unfortunately, this sheet music are made without any accuracy, so you can find a lot of mistakes in it. You can hear all of the differences between audio and score. I suppose, that Vladimirov made his own arrangement of the song and passed it off as Cliburn's work.
