This is a glorious McChekov AU that I thought of a while ago since I first saw Karl Urban as Caesar on Xena Warrior Princess. The plot line is this: Julius Caesar, ruler of the Roman Empire, is given a Russian slave as a peace offering. The boy, named Pavel Chekov, is assigned to be Caesar’s right hand man.
