He performs for us a melody of his own, titled Lullaby, on a custom LUTHIEROS Roman Kithara masterfully handcrafted in Greece, and designed in detail by him. According to modern scholars, ancient Greek lullabies resembled protective magical incantations designed to protect the hearer from the attack of daimonic forces. They had a ritualistic nature and the magical potential to lull an audience to sleep or alleviate the fears of the performer. We can find related sources in the work of Simonides, Theocritus, Plato, and Homer. This video session took place inside Rotonda della Besana in Milan, Italy, a late baroque building complex, and today an amazing venue for cultural events. ⚫ Find the perfect kithara or lyre for you at 🔵 Learn to play the kithara and the lyre at 🎬 Film d'auteur: Nikolaos Koumartzis 🎙️ Who is Giorgio?
