How to live a peaceful and gentle life - slow living in the English countryside. Life is becoming more hectic and difficult each day, so now it's more important than ever to find little moments and activities which bring us joy and calm. These are some of my suggestions for how to live in a more cozy and gentle way. 00:00 - 00:29 Intro 00:30 - 04:00 Slow Rainy Morning Routine 04:01 - 07:09 Foraging & Learning about plants 07:10 - 08:01 Reading, Thrifting, Indoor Gardening 08:02 - 09:32 Nettle Hair Rinse & Self Care 09:33 - 12:22 Forest Bathing ______ Buy me a coffee or subscribe to my membership only blog on Ko-Fi: Music from Epidemic Sound Get 7 days free: _____ NETTLE HAIR RINSE Pick about 8-10 nettle tops or whole stems, wash thoroughly. Boil 1L of filtered water and pour over your nettle in a big bowl. Cover and leave to cool, then put in the fridge and infuse for 24 hours or overnight. The water will turn deep greenish brown colour. Pour into a spray bottle or a jar using a sieve. Wash your hair the way you usually do, and then either pour the nettle rinse over your hair whilst in the shower, or spray generously on the entire length. Massage the scalp. Don't rinse out. I am not sure how this rinse would work on lighter hair, so I suggest testing it out before you commit! Also, patch test on your hand before use, to make sure it doesn't cause any irritation. _____ Find me on Instagram: Filmed on: Panasonic GH6 Edited with: Premiere Pro CC Music: Epidemic Sound key words: #slowliving #peacefulliving #slowlife #theartofslowliving #englishcountryside hair growth, nettle rinse, nettle benefits, ideas for slow living, ideas for peaceful life, forest bathing #forestbathing #gentleliving #softliving #calmness foraging, bluebell woods, english countryside, cottagecore, ideas for cottagecore
