The legendary guitarist and harmonica player Eugene Buddy Moss is easily among the best of the Piedmont/east coast style bluesmen, with an astounding body of work consisting of poorly preserved/restored pre-war recordings and a few recordings from his carreer during the “revival“ era which have barely been paid attention to, with the claim being that he was apparently too contentious and difficult to get along with.
