The Russian capital has recorded an increasing number of coronavirus cases over the last week. On Saturday, authorities announced 9,120 new cases. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin introduced new measures earlier this week to curb the surging COVID-19 cases, including a ban on nightlife past 23:00 (20:00 GMT) in the capital and the cancellation of mass events with more than 1,000 attendees. The authorities also said vaccination against COVID-19 will be made compulsory for 60 percent of employees in the service sector, or they will face a fine. #Moscow #Russia #COVID19 #coronavirus Video ID: 20210619-056 Video on Demand: Contact: cd@ Twitter: Facebook:
