RVV-AE Air-to-air medium-range missile is designed to engage aerial targets (fighters, strikers, bombers, helicopters, military transport aircraft, and cruise missiles) day and night, at all aspect angles, in ECM environment, against earth or water surfaces, including multi-channel firing according to fire-and-forget principle. The missile is intended to arm MiG and Su type aircraft. The missile has the inertial targeting system with radio correction and active radar homing on the final stage of the trajectory.
