Schizo was formed in Catania, Sicily in 1984 by Alberto Penzin e S.B. Reder along with Necrodeath and Bulldozer they are consider the pioneers of black/thrash music in Italy. The name of the band was taken from a Venom song. Their demo tapes “Thrash the Unthrashable / Thrash to Kill“ (85) “Total Schizophrenia“ (86) and the debut album “Main Frame Collapse“ (89) are still consider real gems of underground music.
