In this video I quickly recover isopropyl alcohol from resin 3D Printer wash in just 4 hours. Using methods similar to those used in water treatment plants. We add an aluminum sulfate solution to our 3D Printer IPA resin wash and mix until the resin particles coagulate and leave us with clear IPA. Once we have processed the resin wash we decant the isopropyl alcohol into another container for reuse on new resin 3D Prints. This method of isopropyl alcohol recycling is cheap and easy. 0:00 - Why recycling IPA is Hard 2:08 - IPA Recycling & Wastewater Treatment 4:01 - Aluminum Sulfate & Resin Wash Treatment 5:08 - IPA Recovery Process 6:32 - Tips for Wash Station Users 7:38 - Getting all your IPA Back 8:05 - IPA Dilution Concerns 8:37 - Aluminum Sulfate vs “Alum“ 9:24 - Wrap Up Aluminum Sulfate - Glass Beakers - Magnetic Stirrer - Wash and Cure Plus -
