Turkish forces opened fire on Syrian protesters who rallied outside Turkish military bases in cities and towns of Aleppo Governorate in northwestern Syria, killing seven protesters and injuring 40 others, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported. Protesters reportedly stormed buildings and clashes erupted between security personnel and demonstrators. Six people were killed in the city of Afrin and one in Jarablus. The rallies followed a rampage against Syrian businesses and properties in central Turkey where a Syrian man was accused of sexually abusing a child.
