Most the things which make our lives worthwhile, whether technological, scientific or intellectual, have their roots in Europe or the Middle East. This leaves people from Africa and Australia feeling a bit left out and so a cottage industry has sprung up which is dedicated to proving that Africans discovered prime numbers twenty thousand years before Europeans and that Australian aborigines were responsible for the invention of the aeroplane propeller. Some people in Australia are at the cutting edge of this revisionist history.
