But the happy moment quickly takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the river runs dark, and their once vibrant surroundings begin to change before their very eyes... PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, this is NOT an episode, nor is it an official clip from the pilot (yes, I'm planning on making a pilot at some point!), this is just a concept animation that explores some of the core themes of my series. This is a huge passion project for me, and I'm so glad I was able to finish another short, especially due to the limitations I'm facing--any role that wasn't listed/credited means I did it myself... which is a lot of work!!! I'm pretty proud of this, especially considering I did SO much on my own. My goal is to make longer content, but it's a lot to handle as one person, so I'd like to hire a team at some point. It's not realistic for me to make a 3-4 minute scene on my own. If you'd like to support the project, sharing this video, buying the plush, or donating on Patreon would be super appreciated. It's crazy to believe this is done. It's been a really insane past few months for me--I went from working full time to getting laid off, I decided to start taking my own projects more seriously, and then suddenly my cat, who was my first ever pet, passed away. Losing her still feels really strange, even though it's been a few months. Some of you guys probably think I got into drawing cats because of Warriors, but it was actually because of her--I just loved her so much as a kid I devoted most of my time to drawing kitties because of that. Cream & Spooky likely would have never existed had it not been for her, and as I was in the midst of working on this really ambitious animation and hoping to get it out for December/January her health took a turn for the worse. So it feels weird to finally complete this animation and to embark on a new chapter of my life without her. I've decided I'm finally going to start taking steps to develop the Cream & Spooky pilot, and I've started production on episode 1 of Cassie & the Wolf. A lot of big things happening and I can't believe she's not here for them 🥺 Anyways, enough rambling, but I felt compelled to share that last bit. I'm going to be posting a channel update video soon, but it might be a few weeks because I need a small break from drawing & animating I think haha. I really do have huge plans though, and I hope you guys are looking forward to the things that are coming to this channel 💞 SERIES DESCRIPTION: The afterlife is supposed to be a place of peace and relaxation... isn't it? But it's not long before they discover that their bright, celestial world harbours dark, terrifying secrets, and it's up to them to figure out what's going on before it's too late.
