Full titles read: “Pathetone Weekly now presents another of its 'Talkie Topical' Stars. - Albert Whelan - the celebrated Variety & Radio Entertainer. At the piano —---“ (end of title obscured by timecode.) London (probably Pathe Studios). M/S of a man in tails playing a grand piano. Albert Whelan enters, also in tails and greets the pianist (his name is Gordon), who asks if he is ready for a rehearsal. Albert stands by the piano and tells a joke about an Irishman who reckons he's a crack shot with a gun; the man's friend tells him to prove it by shooting a pigeon that is sitting on a tall building. The first man does so, but the friend says “The fall was enough to kill him!“ Another joke follows about a Jewish furrier and and Irish mind reader sharing a train compartment. Albert then sings a song called 'She's My Secret Passion'; he whistles the melody of the song while putting on his coat and hat and walking out of shot. (Pathetone end titles follow.)
