Well, I couldn’t resist. Had to do my own comparison of the mid range BB1024X and the entry level BB424X to satisfy my curiosity. As I expected, the 424X plays and sounds great for a bass in that price range. The 1024X does top it in build quality, playability and sound IMO, but I wouldn’t hesitate using the 424X live. It’s definitely a keeper, as is the 1024X. Wish I had the top of the range 2024 to throw in the mix, but alas it’s an expensive piece. The “bass less“ backing track is by the Funkdawg
