For This Year's Boat Race! (1932)

Full title reads: “Cambridge - For this year's Boat Race! Light Blues have already started practice on the Cam and showing good form.“ Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Line up of young rowers holding their oars. They are standing outside their boat hut on the River Cam. It looks a little bit cold as they are all wearing scarves and the cox is very wrapped up in a coat. They carry their boat out of the boat house and put it in the river. They prepare to get in. The rowers climb in and the boat moves away from the bank. High angle shot rowers on the river. Different angle of the boat coming round a bend in the river towards the camera. They go under the camera position. The sound on this story is merely natural sound - there is no commentary. There appears to have been a shorter, silent version of this item in Gazette 1883.
