I drive past this property nearly everyday while I'm going to and from work, and I've thought to myself a few times that it would be a good clean up. I've watched the grass getting taller and taller. Then, all of a sudden, this same property came through to the call centre, and I was asked to go around to do a quote for mowing. After speaking to the tenant, he asked me to estimate for mowing to keep the rental property in reasonable shape for an upcoming inspection. I said that I could do better than that, i will do a full yard makeover and i will do it for free. Let me tell you, he was pleased with the offer and gave me permission to proceed. He did specifically ask me to leave all of the plants intact, just trim them. All up, I spent around 12 hours on this job, including 2 trips to the landfill.
