Part Of: Statale Adriatica Release Date: Buy Link: Soul Clap Records SoundCloud | Traxsource | Release Text: From “Zone“ by the Rhythm Makers (1976), to “Monkey Star“ by Arpadys (1977), Funk Rimini pays tribute to the sound of the Adriatic Coast in the seventies. This project was born with the intention of creating a bridge between the past and the present. A tribute to the sound of the historic italian nightclubs with a special focus on the legendary tracks that were played at the Baia degli Angeli tried to record and sing the tunes as faithfully as possible. we respected original layouts and sounds, trying to recreate with our equipment, in our Synthposio Studio in Rimini, what they did in the big studios in Philadelphia or New York. We packed our studio with Honer Clavinet, Rhodes piano, Fender Stratocaster guitar and Jazz bass, Moog and Roland synthesizers, Logan String Machine, and an Akai AX60. We also played all kinds of percussions and sang the backing measured ourselves with the teachers, and the result was a real music lesson, knowledge guided us in experimentation. A very Italo Disco operation, with all the innocence of the term: the Riviera is famous for this sound, which starts from Afro-Funk and reaches House music. And in our small way we feel as if we have brought back home certain sounds that have been at home here in unsuspecting times. Even if in our background the 70s were fundamental, in our records we have never opted for a purely vintage sound, it seems to us an anachronism. This is why we develop our funky vision in an electronic and futuristic are very interested in the relationship between vintage analog sound and contemporary digital sound, In Riviera Clubbing Soundtrack the result is some turbo versions of dancefloor classics but with a contemporary twist that enhances and establishes the importance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Berlin House Music Submit Your Music | Store | Instagram | YouTube | Facebook | SoundCloud |
