FREE PLANS - Of course you can put your feet up on it! Or just your coffee cup, it's up to you. ๐Ÿ‘‡ Click โ€œShow Moreโ€ for Stuff you probably want to know! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ“ƒ FREE plans: I'm building a coffee table out of locally sourced Cherry hardwood. It has two shelves, and substantial 2โ€œ thick legs. The legs are tapered and the top has a subtle curve to it so it is NOT just a boring rectangle. It's 48โ€œ long and 22โ€œ wide, or 122cm x 56cm. I'm using dowels for joinery. And yes, it is strong enough to stand on, or sit on... But most often it's just going to have my feet propped up on it. This project includes: - How to get straight grain on all four sides of the legs. - Using a Heat Gun on the piece before filling knots and cracks with epoxy. - Using the Dowelmax jig in several different configurations to make all the joinery I need. - Using an Ad-Hoc Tablesaw template for cutting tapers on the legs. - Cutting a large chamfer on the underside of the top.
