One of the most requested tutorial topic I get is to dive in sound design. For many people, this part of electronic music making seems very esoteric and hard to understand mostly because they don’t know where to start. So many tools, deep vocabulary and endless parameters to learn on how they modify the sound is imposing, confusing. I invited from Colorado, my dear friend Jason Corder aka offthesky with whom I make music for countless years. He is a professional music maker, sound designer for video games. I asked him where to start and also to dive into where we can get started with little things on Ableton. Using only stock plugins, he shows us how he works. Video Production by P.
