This is our worst video and most expensive one. CRUSADE is off our PREMEDITATED MURDER lp. We had just been signed by Warner Chappell publishing and we were approached by the company behind the last Skinny Puppy video. We told them we wanted an intelligent video preferable without us in it. The last thing we wanted was a lip synch video. They showed us a good script so we OK'd it and received a gov't grant from FACTOR to make the video. Our new publishers, Warner paid to fly the band to Vancouver to make the video. We arrived in Vancouver and walked into the studio only to find out they wanted us to lip sync in from of a screen projecting the bombings that were happening in Iraq at the time. Needless to say I WAS PISSED OFF and walked off the set. Not wanting to do the shoot i was coherced into it by friends who were right when they said it would jepordize our new contract with Warner. I did the video on the condition they won't show any Iraq war and no posing to the camera. Needless to s
