Polish judge fled to Belarus and asked for asylum Tomasz Schmidt gave up his position in the provincial administrative court in Warsaw and left for Belarus. The now former judge stated that he did it as a sign of protest against Warsaw’s policy. Schmidt also stressed that he was in favour of peace and good neighbourly relations with Minsk and Moscow.
