Ejections 093-94 - Gabe Morales Ejects Craig Counsell, John Libka Tosses Christian Yelich in 6th

HP Umpire Gabe Morales ejected Brewers manager Craig Counsell (balls/strikes) and 1B Umpire John Libka ejected LF Christian Yelich (out call, batter-runner loss of overrun protection). Report: Counsell was ejected in the top of the 6th inning after a pitching change to replace Freddy Peralta. Yelich was ejected in the bottom of the 6th after being called out on a tag by Reds 2B Jonathan India after Yelich overran first base and was standing near the right field line. 1B Umpire Libka agreed with India, having ruled Yelich out pursuant to Official Baseball Rule (b)(11), which states a batter-runner is out when said runner “fails to return at once to first base after overrunning or oversliding that base. If the runner attempts to run to second they are out when tagged.“
