Full title reads: “Pathetone now has pleasure in presenting. The Popular Variety Comedian Bert Weston“. Pathe Studios, London. M/S of Bert Weston entering suburban street set. He is dressed in top hat and tails and carries a dog lead (but no dog!). He plays the part of the drunken posh toff. He sings a comic song about losing the dog and having to go to all the local public houses to try and find it. Exact title of song unknown. He slurs and mispronounces words. He then enters into a comic monologue which is mainly about his frequent drunkenness and his wife reprimanding him for it. He sings the song again and we see him enter a front door in the set.
