The threshing flail was a widely used weapon in the Fechtschule of the 16th century. Depictions range from single plates in Meyer to copper etchings of Virgil Solis. People often think that sparring with these weapons is impossible and that light heads aren't good to practice the threshing flail with. In this video I explain why I disagree with that notion.
