In Victoria, British Columbia Health Minister Adrian Dix takes questions from reporters concerning a 2019 data breach of LifeLabs. The news conference follows the conclusion of a joint investigation by Ontario and B.C.’s privacy commissioners that the laboratory testing company failed to adequately protect the personal health information of up to 15 million Canadians against a cyberattack.
