No titles. Policeman invents easier method of resuscitation. Worthing, West Sussex. On Worthing beach, we see various shots of unconscious woman Miranda Overington being pulled onto the shingle by policewoman Jane Morse and an unidentified man. C/U of Miranda in unconscious state. Jane places a new invention to assist in resuscitation over Miranda's mouth and unfolds it. It is a piece of nylon or plastic with a one-way valve in the centre. Jane starts giving Miranda the kiss of life. C/U of Inventor PC Dan Barker looking on. C/U of Superintendent Edser watching. Miranda is revived and sits up. PC Barker hands the resusciade to Superintendent Edser. C/U of the resusciade; pan up to inventor Barker. Commentator says all Sussex patrol vehicles have been equipped with the new invention.
