Bogurodzica, or in English “Mother of God,“ is a Polish hymn first composed sometime between the 10th and 13th centuries. it is the oldest religious or patriotic Polish hymn. Traditionally sung in Old Polish with the Greek phrase “Kyrie Eleison,“ or “Lord Have Mercy.“ Saint Adalbert of Prague is the likely author. Polish knights chanted this hymn prior to the Battle of Gunwald in 1410. credit to Farya Faraji for the original music. Source: #poland #catholic #hymn #music
