Duke3D pre-release weapon demonstration All available weapons and their pickups Custom build using 09/22 sources and appropriate CON files minor fixes Ported to closest matching engine (october). Uses shareware game data (sounds/maps/etc..) from a beta 2 months later, thankfully there were a ton of unused sounds that this beta needs Any missing ART had to be restored or changed from various sources Around May the team added weapon powerups to the game as alternate ammo. Pressing a number key for the second time would swap the ammunition for a more powerful one or change it's functionality (shrinker/expander). Later in June work began on adding a BLUE/RED highlight on each weapon to better show the toggle state visually. Aside from pistol's alt being a shotgun-like burst and tripmine's new scan mode, things remained mostly the same until eventual removal.
