This non monetized movie is made from clips out of the 1955 drama “Strategic Air Command“ staring James Stewart and June Allyson. It is only the second movie that Paramount made in wide screen color. He fought in WW2 flying B-24 Liberators and rose to the rank of Colonel. After the war he stayed in the reserves of the United States Air Force until 1959. He went on to fly B-47's and B-52's and rose to the rank of Brigadier General. Convair built 384 of these heavy bombers nick named “Peacemakers“. They had a max range of 10,000 miles and a max payload of 87,200 lbs
