June 10th, 2022 Magnús lugged his 60 year old Hammond organ, Leslie rotary speaker, Minimoog synthesizer and various effect pedals into the huge empty space and set up for recording. “I love working with lush sounding instruments in unorthodox ways, deconstructing them, filtering and/or blending with noise in order to create something that sounds like it doesn’t originate from said instrument” Magnús says about how he approached the recordings.
