Mongun-Taiga* mountain range, part of Eastern Siberia near Mongolian border. There are no normal roads, and the delivery of each kilogram of equipment is not easy. Specially for mountain expeditions, I made light collapsible rails, convenient for carrying manually. Here are a few shots of this difficult mission. P.S. Sorry about big logo - its against stealing. *Mongun-Taiga (Silver mountain) - a mountain range on the territory of the Mongun-taiga region, in the East of the Altai mountains. The Russian part of the Altai mountains is considered to be part of Western Siberia, but the Mongun-Taiga in 1932 was transferred from Mongolia to the Tuvan people’s Republic, and in 1944 (after the occurrence of Tuva in the Russian Federation) became, together with the entire Tuva be considered as part of Eastern Siberia. At the Eastern foot of the array is lake Hintidig-Khol. Here is the highest point of Tuva and the Eastern Siberia - mount Mongun-Taiga (3971 m).*
