What is the limit of the factory internals in the legendary 2JZ engine? On todays episode we're back with Jay Meagher from Real Street Performance, he completes a step by step teardown on a 2JZ engine that suffered a catastrophic failure. This 2JZ engine lived a long life starting at 800 whp back in 2010, 2015 it made 900 whp, 2017 it made 1019whp, and finally in 2020 they pushed it to 1106whp! At over 1100WHP the engine lasted for a full dyno session and it broke on its first track event. Grab your popcorn
