- George Gao Plays the 3rd movement of Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D Major on his upgraded erhu - Shaoqin. I made a video three years ago playing the first movement of this great work, and I wanted to finish the whole three movements, but it has been so hard to find big bulk of time to do so, it's slow but here it is, three years in the learning and making. 三年前练的柴可夫斯基《D大调小提琴协奏曲》第一乐章视频已经传遍全世界，之后，我一直断断续续地练第三乐章，总是觉得时间不够用....今天，第三乐章终于面世！爱死老柴了！音乐真是奇妙，这样的作品能让我不顾一切地研习，在移植过程中学到并发明了许多二胡新技法，拓宽其表现力。 三十年前用二胡移植萨拉萨蒂的《卡门幻想曲》时，几乎所有二胡人都不相信能做到，除了大批赞叹声外也有个别心怀叵测的人怀疑其真实性，直到大家好多年后开始自己学习，才证明这是可能的，《卡门幻想曲》可以说是为了新创作的现代二胡作品奠定了音乐及技术基础。 今天移植柴可夫斯基小提琴协奏曲无疑又是前无古人的之举，升级版二胡－韶琴为二胡人又带来一片新天地！这个录像是为了抛砖引玉，希望给作曲家，演奏家们在创作，演奏上能够有所启发，大大丰富我们的音乐。
