Making puukko knife for sloyd and bushcraft

I hand forge a traditional Scandinavian knife and carve a handle and a wooden sheath. No power tools. Open the full video description for more information. I use a piece of coil spring from a car and ash wood from the local forrest. I am going to use the knife in future videos mainly for doing sloyd/wood carving, but also just bushcraft in general. --------------------------- Materials: Spring steel, ash wood, cow leather, tung oil, bank line. --------------------------- A few quick questions: is “puukko“? “puukko“ is Finnish and translated to English is it “knife“/“belt knife“. Internationally refer “puukko“ to a specific style of traditional Scandinavian style belt knifes.
