Set dressed to look like Roman villa. Merson enters dressed as Roman Caesar. A pretty girl in a toga reclines on a chaise longue. Various shots of comedian, Merson, singing comic song about Cleopatra. The girl asks him where his been and Merson enters into monologue in Shakespearean style about an ill-fated date with Cleo where he ended up in gaol.
